It’s a HOUSE Party
- an evening fundraising event at
a Studio Seress on Abbot Kinney
Blvd in Venice on Saturday June 19th from 6:30 to 10 PM.
Proceeds from ticket, silent auction, and merchandise sales are directed toward the veterinary and rehabilitation costs for House, Dirty Dog Squad’s most recent dog rescue project.
Our evening gala includes a silent auction, light refreshments, arts/jewelry, organic teas and coffee, and live music from local artists.
Its a HOUSE Party is celebration to honor "HOUSE" our current rescue project - House.
House is an amazing, charismatic 5 year old Shepherd mix saved by Dirty Dog Squad from the South LA Shelter. House had been injured and was being held in medical isolation, hidden away from the eyes of the public. When we let him out of his cage, he limped over to me and buried his head in my chest, then tried to curl up in my lap. That was it - House was leaving the shelter with us !! House has been learned to walk with his paralyzed front leg - and now plays at the dogpark, jumps into the car, and jumps onto the bed - and steals all the covers !! House still needs physical therapy and we're having a custom brace built for him. Through all his misfortunes, House has remained incredibly sweet and gentle, mellow and playful. He is wonderful guy, full of character - and we want to do everything we can to help him live full life and find a great forever home.
