to Fiesta d'Arrow
Fiesta d'Arrow is a fundraising event being held at a private urban oasis on Sunday February 28th form 2 - 6 PM in Venice , CA. Our afternoon gala includes a silent auction, light refreshments, organic teas and coffee, and live music from local artists. We are also offering a wonderful collection of clothing and accessories from Solala, a newly opened boutique featuring native handicrafts from Guatemala and Bali.
Arrow is a magical Shepherd/Wolf mix saved on Halloween 2009 by Dirty Dog Squad from the South LA Shelter in terrible shape – neglected outdoors, emaciated, filthy and flea-covered. She made a remarkable recovery and found a home with Libby, a dialysis patient who had recently lost her dog of 14 years. They quickly became best friends and supported each other as they recovered through their tough times together. Sadly, Arrow was recently diagnosed with multiple mammary masses that need to be removed – and there’s a 50% chance its cancer. Dirty Dog Squad is sponsoring Arrow’s surgery, but her veterinary bills have taken a financial toll on our small group, Fiesta d'Arrow is a celebration of Arrow's rescue and a chance for you to help make wonderful stories like Arrow and Libby come true for other people and pets.
